Cancellations & Refunds

Last updated: February 27, 2026

This policy explains cancellation options and refunds. Additional rights may apply if you are a consumer contracting at a distance (online/phone).

Consumer right to cancel (distance contracts)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, consumers usually have a 14-day cancellation period for distance contracts in many circumstances. There are exceptions and special rules depending on the type of contract and what has been provided/performed. :contentReference[oaicite:8]{index=8}

How to cancel

Timing and refunds

Bookings close to the hire date

If your hire is scheduled soon and you ask us to begin preparations, delivery, setup, or other services before the cancellation period ends, your right to cancel may be affected and/or you may be charged for work already carried out, where permitted.

Non-consumer / business bookings

Business-to-business bookings may have different cancellation terms, which will be agreed at booking time.

Faulty equipment

If equipment is faulty on arrival, contact us immediately. We will aim to repair/replace or agree a suitable remedy.

Reference: UK government guidance notes consumers must be told about the 14-day right to cancel; if not told, cancellation rights can extend. :contentReference[oaicite:9]{index=9}
